Instrument Cluster may have gone bad?

Oil pressure gauge quit working, so we thought oil sending unit.. However, these guys quoting a woman on the problem will immediately tell me its the cluster that needs fixed which they are quoting me 700.00.. I found a guy on ebay that will fix them for 100.00 however I do not know how to get the cluster off.. I drive a 05 GMC envoy… how do I get it off and are there things attached to that panel when I take it off.. Is this cluster something I can take to O’Reiley to get parts for and repair it myself or do I have to have someone fix it for me?

This seems a little strange,to need a cluster because the oil gauge doesn’t work.Maybe another opinion is in order. But,it may be best to buy a used one if you really need it. Find one here: http://car-part.com
